        During the 50th celebration (awesome night btw) , I learned a bit about ECU tuning on a modern Porsche 991.2 from member Raymond. There are serious HP and Torque gains quoted by many companies. Softronic, Cobb, HD Tuning, etc. DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCES? Are these safe with the stock intake plenums, transmission (PDK) etc. LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCES.

          I can’t speak to 991.2 specifically, but suspect it is similar to 992 given the transition to turbo engines. I have done some research on this for our 992.1 and have concluded that using a stage 1 tune from reputable companies is safe . . . more specifically M-Engineering. There are several SGVR members who have tuned their 911 using M-Engineering maps and have not mentioned having any issues.
