new member here (992.2 gt3) and thinking of getting the full akrapovic or dundon setup – BUT I hesitate because I don’t want to have to remove/re-install when it comes to passing smog. anyone here have any suggestions (aside from ‘just keep it stock’)?
        Thanks in advance!!

Hi Chris, welcome to the members forum. I think this is a really great question that many people will have different answers to.
When you say “full setup”…are you thinking headers, new cats, etc…or are you thinking cat back? In addition to the exhaust are you planning on re-tuning the car or just leaving that stock?
I know people that have done complete cat back exhausts systems and do not have any issue with smog…I also know some that have chose systems that did not pass smog. Many GT3 owners go for a modified tune to get pops and crackles and that can cause it to not pass smog…so they tune it stock for smog and tune it back to after. Not saying that is proper or improper but it does occur. If you are just looking to increase the exhaust note and not modify the tune…then cat back would do that and not interfere with smog (at least it shouldn’t).
