SGVR PCA Member Forum – Code of Conduct
Welcome to the SGVR PCA Member Forums.
These forums are a private space for SGVR PCA members to share information, ask questions, and engage in friendly discussion. Participation is a privilege and is subject to the rules outlined below.
Our goal is to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all members.

General Conduct
Members are expected to interact in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.
The following are not permitted:
• Disrespectful, disparaging, harassing, or abusive comments directed at:
• Porsche Club of America (PCA)
• Porsche or its affiliates
• Personal attacks, name-calling, threats, or inflammatory language
• Content intended to provoke, demean, or intimidate others
Friendly debate and disagreement are welcome, but must remain civil and focused on ideas—not individuals.

Political and Religious Content
• Political and religious discussions, advocacy, or imagery are not permitted.
• Brief, non-political acknowledgments such as holiday greetings are acceptable.
• Content that is hateful, offensive, or mean-spirited—regardless of topic—will be reviewed and acted upon by moderators.

Commercial Activity and Sponsors
• The forum is not a marketplace.
• Members and sponsors may not sell, advertise, or promote goods or services without prior authorization.
• Members may not discourage others from using a competing product or service in a disparaging or misleading manner.
• Vendor or sponsor-related posts must comply with SGVR PCA policies and moderator guidance.

Moderation and Enforcement
To maintain the integrity of the forum:
• Moderators may review, edit, hide, or remove content at their discretion to enforce this Code of Conduct.
• Moderators may request that a member edit or clarify a post.
• Violations may result in:
• Temporary suspension of forum privileges
• Permanent removal of forum access for repeated or serious violations
Moderation decisions are guided by this Code of Conduct, the PCA Regions Procedures Manual, and the SGVR PCA Bylaws.

Repeat or Severe Violations
• A record of violations may be maintained to identify repeat offenders.
• Members who repeatedly violate forum rules, or who engage in egregious misconduct, may lose forum access without further warning.

These guidelines exist to protect the community and ensure the forum remains a positive resource for all members. By participating, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and accept moderator decisions made in good faith.
